using the Samsung SGH-D900i for a few days after...years. a decade, even.

Oct 6, 2025, Monday

i missed this phone; i remember my brother using the E250 (basically this phone but slightly lower-end) and i used to play around with it A LOT. that phone's still with me in my phone collection.

but now that i have the "upgraded version", for the lack of a better word, i thought "why not daily drive it for a while and see how gorgeous it was?"

it wasn't as gorgeous as i thought it would be.

for calling people and text messaging, sure, you can use it. it has predictive text too if you're looking for that.

you can surprisingly browse certain websites with it if you use Opera Mini 4, which surprised me too ngl. but it OVERHEATS. like, a lot. i wouldn't do that unless i had to look something up on Frogfind (Action Retro, hi!!).

normally i would put the photos i would take with the camera; however, my phone's camera decided to yeehaw itself for some reason. i need to take it apart and see what's wrong with it. oh it also has a shutter button on the side btw.

it also has a music player that you can play 30 songs in one go at max (no wonder why i use an mp3 player...).

the interesting thing that stood out to me is that it has an image editor?? though it just has some silly frames and stuff to decorate your photos with as far as i'm concerned.

and if you'd like to transfer your photos or music to your computer, guess what? you need samsung's PC software so that your computer detects the phone and transfers the data...what happened to plug-and-play and drag-and-drop, smasnug??

tldr: what a nugget. i mean back in 2007, it would've been nice to use this thing to brag to your neighborhood's kids about how cool you are; but today people would definitely laugh at you for using something like this...which won't stop me from using it!!
