in the early days of creating this website, i did NOT want to use anything aside from pure HTML. no CSS, no JavaScript, obviously no trackers, no ads...nothing.
as i'm coming to terms with myself that a pure HTML website just wouldn't cut it for me (even though it definitely would for older hardware; also i promise none of the stuff i've mentioned aside from CSS will be added!!), i've decided to add as minimal amount of CSS as i could in order to add a teeny bit of eyecandy in there, while also keeping the whole website under a certain size (my goal for the whole website is to be under 1 MB; currently it's at 24.03 KB!!).
i've been experimenting with how CSS works lately (i'm even less than a beginner when it comes to creating webpages and stuff...), and i've decided to add the catppuccin mocha and latte themes just for shits and giggles...only to end up actually liking it????
and so i've decided to let this website's potential visitors know that, yeah, i think i'm starting to like CSS. i already loved catppuccin anyways though.
